Kentucky's postseason fortune is in the hands of the NCAA Baseball Selection Committee. At 31-21 overall and 13-18 in SEC games, the Wildcats are firmly on the bubble as conference tournaments continue across the country.

Entering the week, Kentucky was listed among the "Last Four In" at D1baseball.com. Baseball America moved Kentucky to "First Four Out" range following the loss to Vanderbilt.

Today's story evaluates the case for Kentucky making a fourth straight NCAA Tournament and the case against it. Optically, could it be as simple as judging the Wildcats in the macro vs. the micro?
