Intel: Kentucky trending for two portal targets

It's been a busy week for Kentucky baseball in the portal. Could the Cats soon be adding more players to the 2027 roster?

Portal activity has ramped up for Kentucky this week. When the transfer portal opened for all players on June 1, the Wildcats already had a commitment from Akron outfield graduate transfer Brody Chrisman.

But between Tuesday and Wednesday, Kentucky landed three targets: Wright State UTIL JP Peltier (Wright State), LHP Kale Hammer (Seattle University) and RHP Logan Hastings (Maryland).

I like Kentucky's standing with two more targets who are nearing decisions.
