Tyler Fryman, one of the top two-sport athletes in the 2027 class, completed his official visit to Kentucky over the weekend. The long-held belief in the recruiting community that Fryman would wind up at Kentucky on a football scholarship could be coming true as soon as Monday.
The Beechwood High School star has been committed to Louisville's baseball program since 2023, but since then, he's developed into one of the best high school wide receivers in America. He's a consensus four-star recruit who's currently ranked as the No. 152 player in the country by Rivals.com. This past season, Fryman had over 1,000 receiving yards and scored 18 touchdowns for the Tigers.
However, he's also the top baseball prospect in the state according to Prep Baseball Report, and ranked No. 54 nationally. Fryman hit .514 this season with a state-leading 73 knocks as Beechwood reached the state tournament. He also hit 15 doubles, nine triples and 12 homers as a junior.
Fryman showed off his wheels in the tournament with an inside-the-park home run against West Jessamine High School.

That’s 4.3 speed folks.
Tyler Fryman whacks one to right center and rounds the bases. There’s speed and then there’s next level speed.
