With Kentucky off to a 9-1 start to begin the 2025 campaign, two seniors are helping lead the way with fast starts.
Lefthanded reliever Jackson Nove, one of the key returnees in the bullpen from the Wildcats’ 2024 College World Series team, has been nails through his first three appearances of the season. Despite pitching just seven innings, he’s third on the team in strikeouts with 16. The two pitchers ahead of him — starters Nic McCay and Ben Cleaver — have both thrown at least 15 innings.
