Kentucky held its third open scrimmage of the week, wrapping up the first full week of intrasquads at Kentucky Proud Park. It was a great day to take in some baseball, and there was a nice gathering of fans checking out this year's team.
The Black team defeated the Blue team 6-2. Ryan Schwartz once again was a standout, launching a three-run homer to the right field bullpen. Schwartz, who also scored a run, showed good situational hitting early in the scrimmage to get a runner home on an infield groundout.
Pitchers: Leighton Harris (2 IP, 2 K, 2 BB, 2 ER), Cam Owens (2 IP, 4 K, ER), Tommy Skelding (2 IP, 2 K)
