The Kentucky baseball team has been fortunate to have good weather for most of its fall practice schedule, but that changed on Sunday afternoon. After enjoying highs in the 80s on Saturday, rain and wind moved into Central Kentucky on Sunday, creating tough conditions during the Wildcats' Sunday scrimmage.
The scrimmage lasted just four innings, which is a few innings shorter than most of the others this fall. But despite light rain falling throughout portions of the scrimmage, the team still managed to get some work in. Opportunities are running out this fall as Wednesday's intrasquad will be the final one before next Sunday's scrimmage against Morehead State.
Here's how Kentucky lined up on Sunday, plus some observations from the action.
