High highs and low lows? You have to be good to find yourself three outs away from a super regional. And despite the what-ifs from last weekend, there were certainly moments where UK was less than good. It’s admirable coach speak to keep the “lows high and the highs low” and it’s something that the best can actually manage, but it seemed this season had some crazy swings (pun intended). The highs were euphoric: the Alabama sweep, the Braxton Van Cleave walk-off against Vanderbilt, the Morgantown regional. The lows were tough: the Mizzou home weekend, the series at South Carolina, and… the Morgantown regional. But we move on…
