Kentucky continued its transfer portal haul with the commitment of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi right-handed pitcher Matthew Watson. Watson, who announced his commitment on Instagram on Tuesday morning, was an All-Southland Conference Second Team selection in 2024 after going 3-4 with a 4.15 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 65 innings pitched. Before Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Watson spent two seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State College. He will be a redshirt senior in 2025.
