Kentucky baseball officially begins practice on Monday as a new semester starts at the university. Based on a rule change that took effect in August, college teams will be allowed to practice 27 times over a 35-day period leading up to opening day on Feb. 13. The buildup time was a change coaches across the sport wanted. It should benefit all players, but especially pitchers, as they get ready for another season.
With opening day now just 32 days away, here's what Bat Cats Central is following on the first day of fall practice.
